Folded, Gathered and Bound

Paintings that respond to lines of thought collected throughout my time in Oxford from book, dialogues, exhibition descriptions, and my own words. My writing practice exists alongside my practical work, and is helping permit me to make paintings without questioning too much what they mean at the time.

Things that are white: A book that’s lost its cover, a child’s shirt, crumpled lace, plaster casts, leather gloves. Folded, gathered and bound.
